3rd May 2013: RAIN!!!! Nooooo, the only day of a beautiful sunny week that we have rain in Cape Town!

However, the lady riders of Cape Town were not afraid of a bit of rain. The bikes started arriving and by 10:00 am there were at least 35 bikes and riders. Each lady was given a pink balloon to tie to her bike, a blessing was done by Renette from God TV and we set off towards Durbanville to our 1st stop at Cool Runnings for some Tobogganing! Wow…the photos tell a thousand stories!

At Cool Runnings we had a meet and greet where all the ladies got to know a little more about each other. From pilots to marriage officers, from grandmothers to cake decorators, we had the whole spectrum. This proved that lady’s from all walks of life, love motorbikes!

Franck, the owner of Cool Runnings did a quick introduction to toboganning and off we went…each lady experienced what tobaganning is all about and much fun was had by everyone!

After prying the lady riders off of the toboggan track, we headed back on our bikes towards Woodbridge Island and the restaurantBang Just Like That for music, Harley Davidson demo rides and cocktails.

Thank you Ryan from Bang, Woodbridge Island, Milnerton for being a fabulous host:

We did prize giving, we partied, we rode Harley’s we danced and we made new friends. The day was a great success – thank you to our wonderful sponsors…we will be doing this again for the Lady Riders of Cape Town…
